Megan started dating my nephew, a couple years ago, but it’s only been recently that I started to get to know her. Megan was a really good sport this past Christmas when she joined my family’s fairly aggressive white elephant game. She even managed to survive without a scratch, which is not always an easy thing to do.

I was really excited for the opportunity to get to know Megan even better when she volunteered to model for me. A friend and I decided to rent a studio for the sole purpose of playing around and testing out new techniques. I have to say Megan is a great model! She was so patient with us and willing to try different things.

One of the things I’ve learned about Megan is she is not only a Disney fan, she creates some fun Disney art. I’ve been following her on Instagram for a while and enjoy seeing what she calls “edits”. During her reveal session I had to have Megan explain how she does her artwork. She ended up showing me more of her artwork than I had seen before. If you are a Disney fan and enjoy seeing the movies in a different way you should follow Megan’s Instagram profile.

In the meantime enjoy some of my favorite images from our studio session . . . .

Very happy to see your progress. Very obvious in this series that you developed that connection with your model. It really shows.

My favorite shot is the one I commented on before. My second favorite is the black and white headshot (next to last posted here)

I would like to see you work that one a bit more to reduce the grey in the bright areas. Would love to just sit back and watch you work sometime. Even promise to keep my mouth shut. :o)ReplyCancel
